Abstract

The relationship between China’s excellent traditional culture with the patriotic education is discussed from different aspects, expounding the spirit core and contemporary value of culture heritage, three points can be concluded, namely, the patriotic spirit orientation, the intrinsic cultivation of the virtue, the life orientation of gradual accumulation and breakout. All these can build students’ national self-esteem, raise awareness of patriotism education and improve social unity in view of the occurrence of global issues. The study also proposes certain specific avenues to implement patriotic education using traditional Chinese culture in an applied perspective through learning, doing and cultivation of spirit. The research results indicate that traditional cultural elements can combat historical nihilism and strengthen moral ethics and the building of future shared humanity community. The research results emphasize the irreplaceable role of traditional cultural forces as a carrier of spiritual nourishment and resistance to disasters of a nation in the development process of the society.
