Abstract

Analysis of ethnic dance reveals it as an integration of unique cultural elements, rich in historical and cultural significance, and a vital expression of traditional Chinese culture. The Belt and Road Initiative presents new opportunities for the international dissemination of ethnic dance culture, fostering shared development and prosperity among diverse civilizations. However, it also introduces significant challenges. Thus, the international dissemination of ethnic dance culture under the Belt and Road Initiative faces multiple complex issues. Therefore, this study focuses on the Belt and Road perspective, interpreting the international dissemination of ethnic dance culture from the dual viewpoints of opportunities and challenges. Simultaneously, it explores development pathways for the international dissemination of ethnic dance culture through four directions: establishing dissemination mechanisms, enriching dissemination content, expanding dissemination formats, and extending dissemination channels.
