Abstract

Employees are a crucial resource that drives a company’s growth and success. Therefore, ensuring their job satisfaction is essential. Companies across various sectors—including government agencies, plantations, logistics, and banking—struggle with job satisfaction issues. One such organization facing a decline in employee job satisfaction is BJB University. Strategies such as improving promotion opportunities and enhancing the work environment can be implemented to address this. This study employs a quantitative research approach, utilizing a saturated sampling technique with 43 participants. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS software version 4.0. The hypothesis testing results indicate that promotion opportunities and the work environment significantly influence employee job satisfaction. Based on these findings, the author recommends that companies enhance job satisfaction by ensuring fair promotional opportunities, fostering positive relationships between employees and their superiors, and implementing adequate supervision. Improved job satisfaction will ultimately lead to better task performance and increased productivity.
