Abstract

Indonesia is transitioning to the industrial era 4.0, bringing various significant changes. Within the context of Industry 4.0, organizations must demonstrate high adaptability to capitalize on emerging opportunities and effectively navigate the associated changes. Therefore, organizations need to have human resources with a high level of readiness for change. Readiness for change encompasses an individual's capacity to accept and adapt to anticipated or unforeseen alterations, encompassing cognitive, psychological, and physical dimensions. This research aims to determine the role of perceived organizational support as a moderating variable in the relationship between psychological capital and readiness for change among employees in Kota Bandung. This research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 255 respondents. Findings from this research indicate that perceived organizational support does not significantly moderate the relationship between psychological capital and readiness for change. Nevertheless, the study found that dimensions of psychological capital, including self-efficacy, hope, resilience, and optimism, significantly predicted employee readiness for change in Kota Bandung.
