- Abstract
The new college entrance examination reform is committed to improving the scientific and fair selection of talents and promoting language teaching to face new opportunities and challenges. This study takes Japanese teaching in a number of middle schools in a city in Northeast China as the object, through questionnaires and interviews, to explore the current situation of their curriculum, teaching methods, and evaluation system. The results show that most of the students choose Japanese because of the college entrance examination, the basic ability is good, but the output of innovative culture is weak; Teachers actively respond to the reform, and have made achievements in teaching innovation, but they are still stuck in the problem of balancing interest in examinations. Therefore, some suggestions are put forward, such as stimulating motivation, hierarchical training, optimizing teaching, and promoting teachers’ development.
