- Abstract
In terms of quality education, there is a growing interest in developing pupils’ aesthetic skills. This study responds to some of the current problems in high school art education, such as fragmentation and inadequate practice of aesthetic education, by designing and implementing a more systematic art education programme. The study adopted an experimental approach, constructed a variety of teaching methods, conducted immersive art experiences and organised art practice activities, and explored in depth how to effectively improve students’ aesthetic ability. The experimental results showed that the optimised teaching scheme made significant progress in improving students’ aesthetic cognition, aesthetic emotion and aesthetic performance. The results of the study are of great significance in promoting the innovative development of art education, as well as providing practical references for the reform of high school art education.
