Abstract

Mangroves are plant formations in coastal areas that have a very important role in the environment. Human resources are the key to sustainable mangrove resilience through synergy between stakeholders. This research aimed to investigate the role of the stakeholders in strengthening the sustainability of mangrove resilience and formulate the best strategies to support sustainable mangrove resilience. This research used a qualitative method, with SWOT Analysis. This research suggested that in reaching the sustainability of mangrove conservation, integrative-collaborative in multidimensional sectors in important. The stakeholders are the Local Community, Village Government, Non-Government Organization, Companies, Lecturers, Mass Media, Public Figure, and Forestry Service. On the field, we have investigated 8 strengths, 8 weaknesses, 7 opportunities and 7 threats in strengthening the sustainability of mangrove resilience. Furthermore, to optimize the role of stakeholders in improving the quality of human resources to support sustainable mangrove resilience, the formulation strategies consist of strengthening the human resource capacity of communities and mangrove management groups, strengthening synergy and collaboration between stakeholders, mapping mangrove areas in real time to monitor mangrove conditions, and strengthening policies and regulations for sustainable mangrove management by the Government. However, existing human resource in coastal areas must support sustainable mangrove resilience.
