- Abstract
The digital transformation of China’s traditional manuf + acturing industry aims to achieve high-quality economic development and become an important part of manufacturing power. However, due to the old organizational structure and management concepts, the road to digital transformation for traditional manufacturing industries is not without challenges. This paper first analyzes the trends in digital transformation for the manufacturing industry and studies the factors influencing the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing industries. Further, it highlights the challenges faced by the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing industries in China and finally points out that achieving digital transformation requires a focus on four aspects, including cultivating digital talents, developing digital transformation strategies, building a digital ecosystem, and the government’s rational allocation of resources to guide the process effectively.
