- Abstract
An analysis of 516 core journal articles on rock and soil consolidation technology in China reveals that research in this field has grown since 2005. Research hotspots include consolidation of soil, excavation pits, loess, and shield tunnels, with numerical simulation being the frontier. Consolidation techniques and stability are also of interest, with a variety of consolidation techniques being widely applied. The study helps to understand the trends of progress and provide a basis for the safety of urban construction and infrastructure. Future research may place more emphasis on practicality, innovation, and environmental friendliness to meet the actual needs of rock and soil engineering and potentially have an impact on the sustainability and resilience of challenged urban infrastructure.
