- Abstract
This study explores a risk-based approach for the assessment and maintenance prioritization of bridge components, utilizing the latest inspection results from 2023. A comprehensive risk analysis framework is established to evaluate the risk levels of various bridge components, enabling the effective allocation of inspection and maintenance resources. The findings demonstrate that risk analysis offers significant advantages in identifying critical components, supporting preventive maintenance, and reducing the likelihood of future sudden failures.
