Abstract

Quality tourism is a tourism concept that emphasizes the quality of the tourist experience and its positive impact on the destination, such value local culture, nature, and the environment. The focus here is not just on the number of tourists but also on creating memorable and sustainable experiences for all parties. Without developing tourism equality that is more focused on disability, the government there are numerous tourist destinations and a very friendly community. However, increasing understanding of quality tourism is crucial, as it will impact regional income and the surrounding community. Quality tourism provides an opportunity for deeper and broader development of the tourism sector, leveraging the potential of the local community and stakeholder support. This study uses a qualitative research method, conducted in Sampang, Madura. The results of this study are: Various strategies have been tried to be developed, but the regulations are still not optimal due to funding constraints and binding culture. Problems that arise are the lack of staff training in handling disabled guests and economic factors such as the high cost of building accessible facilities and the low number of disabled guests. Collaboration is needed between the government and the private sector in formulating the development of inclusive tourism that prioritizes not only the number of tourists but also safety, comfort, and accessibility.
