- Abstract
Evaluating the reproductive performance of Indonesian Friesian Holstein (FH) cattle is crucial for improving milk production efficiency. This study assessed the reproductive performance of Indonesian FH cattle at UPT PT-HMT Batu from 2021 to 2023, focusing on Service per Conception (S/C), Days Open (DO), and Calving Interval (CI). Secondary data from reproductive records and interviews with inseminators were analyzed using linear regression. Results showed an increase in S/C from 2.14 ± 1.70 in 2021 to 2.50 ± 1.70 in 2023. DO fluctuated, decreasing to 189.37 ± 139.77 days in 2023, while CI increased from 451.67 ± 111.39 days in 2021 to 555.76 ± 180.64 days in 2023. Linear regression models revealed trends: S/C: Y = 2.05 + 0.18X, DO: Y = 284.32 - 34.315X, and CI: Y = 443.72 + 52.045X, where X represents the year (0 for 2021, 1 for 2022, 2 for 2023). These trends indicate fluctuating reproductive efficiency, highlighting the need for targeted management strategies.
