I would like to express our sincere gratitude to our distinguished keynote speakers: Prof. Pai-Poo Lee (National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan), Prof. Tomonori Nochi (Tohoku University, Japan), Prof. Ifar Subagiyo (Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia), and Mr. Reza Abdul Jabbar (The Rural Practice Trust Dairy Farm, New Zealand). We are also grateful to our invited speakers: Mr. Aswah Ridhowi (National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan), Mr. Firmansyah Tri Saputra (University of Florida, USA), and Dr. Pornsin Keanthao (Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Thailand), for joining us and sharing their expertise. This year's theme, “Circular Economy in the Livestock Industry: Innovations for Improving Management and Resource Efficiency”, addresses the urgent need to enhance sustainability and resource efficiency in livestock production. As demands on resources increase, the circular economy presents a promising framework to minimize waste, optimize productivity, and support environmental resilience within the livestock sector. Through this theme, we aim to foster collaboration, share innovative solutions, and encourage practices that benefit both industry and the global community. I am sincerely grateful to the Rector of Universitas Brawijaya, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science, and the dedicated ICIAS committee for making this event possible. To all our speakers, authors, and participants, thank you for contributing your insights and research, enriching this conference with vital perspectives. All of the articles in this proceeding have been peer reviewed by the members of the Scientific Committee and approved by the Editor-in-Chief. Hopefully, this proceedings volume will provide valuable benefits in achieving the conference theme of promoting a circular economy in the livestock industry through improved management and resource efficiency.
