Abstract

This article discusses the principle of “no one knows” and its impact in cultural and creative industries. By analyzing the behaviors and challenges of creators, producers, distributors and audiences under this uncertain background, the unpredictability of cultural products has a profound impact on all links of the industrial chain. Creators face the contradiction between creative pressure and market demand. Producers and distributors bear economic and legal risks, and may also get huge returns. The audience faces the confusion of choice in diversity, and also shapes the market direction of cultural products to a certain extent. At the end of the article, it is pointed out that although the principle of “no one knows” brings great uncertainty, it is also one of the driving forces for the innovation and development of cultural and creative industries.
