- Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted critical vulnerabilities in healthcare supply chains (HCSC), exposing their inability to effectively manage large-scale disruptions. In response to these challenges, disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things have emerged as key enablers of supply chain resilience in the healthcare sector.
Despite growing interest, the research landscape remains fragmented, with limited clarity on the structure and evolution of the field. To address this gap, this study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research on disruptive technologies and healthcare supply chain resilience from 2015 to 2025. The data analyzed were sourced from the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases, from which 73 relevant articles were selected. Using bibliometric methods, we identified influential authors, institutions, journals, countries, main topics and key research trends in this domain. These insights provide a thorough mapping of the research landscape and offer a valuable foundation for future research.
