Abstract

Maintaining blood sugar balance is essential for proper kidney, liver, and brain function. Diabetes can be caused by damage to pancreatic cells from chronic pancreatitis. One plant with potential benefits for diabetes sufferers is lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus L.). The research sample consisted of 24 Wistar rats divided into 4 experimental groups (Control Group, Experiments 1, 2, and 3). Administration of nanoemulsion extractfragrant lemongrass (Cymbopogon Citratus L) to see the antidiabetic test by examining blood glucose and histopathology of the pancreas of mice after the mice were diagnosed with diabetes mellitus due to inductionstreptozotocin. The effectiveness of administering nanoemulsion of lemongrass extract (Cymbopogon Citratus L) at a concentration of F3 (5%) as an antidiabetic in mice with diabetes mellitus with glucose levels in the P3 group of 320.6 mg/dL to 320.6 mg/dL.84.3 mg/dl
