- Abstract
Currently, degenarative disease are a major in Indonesia, affecting approximately thirty percent of the population. As an alternative treatment, Indonesia communities tend to Prefer herbal or traditional medicines. One widely used plant is Titanus leaf (Leea aequata L.) using the wet granulation method. Extractiion was carried out using ninety six percent ethanol, as the leaves are know to contain active compounds such as flavanoids, phenols, tannins, quinones, saponins, alkaloid, and steroids or terpenoids. The study specifically compares the use of mucilago amyli as a binder in three different formulation. Formulation 1 twenty percent, Formulation 2 ten percent, and Formulation 3 five percent and then to determine the concentration that produces high quality tablet meeting required standarts. Based on the test results, Formuation one, which uses twenty the most acceptable tablets.
