Abstract

The digital era has ushered in a transformative period for indie literature, significantly simplifying the process of publishing literary works and necessitating a reevaluation of their value. This study asserts that innovation is a cornerstone of this evolution. Utilizing qualitative research methods, the research explores the creative processes, marketing strategies, and the broader impact on indie writers in the digital landscape. Data were gathered through interviews with indie writers and analyzed using descriptive techniques. The results indicate that the production and marketing of indie literature are deeply intertwined with digital technologies, which streamline the efforts of writers, publishers, and marketing teams. Indie writers emphasize that these digital advancements are crucial in facilitating the publication and distribution of their works, marking a significant shift from traditional to digital paradigms.
