Abstract

This study examines the impact of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) on undergraduate engineering students over a single academic year. Learning outcomes were measured using industry-specific evaluation criteria, project performance, and competency-based assessments. The results demonstrate significant improvements in student engagement and skill development: 78% show enhanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, 72% show enhanced digital competency and teamwork, and 65% effectively use transdisciplinary knowledge in practical projects. The findings show how effectively OBE-driven curricular reform may bridge the gap between engineering education and business needs. By integrating digital technology, practical learning, and continuous evaluation, engineering schools can generate adaptable graduates ready for the evolving demands of the digital economy and lifelong learning.
