- Abstract
Terusan Tengah Tidal Irrigation Area (T3IA) is a potential tidal swamp land and one of the ex-PLGs. The water system uses a fork system with retention ponds. The condition of the water system in T3IA is not functioning optimally. The existence of a channel through the retention-pond to the Kapuas River estuary disrupts the flow system. The purpose of this study is to calibrate the flow simulation results so as to obtain flow simulation results that are approximately the same as the conditions in the field. It also aims to determine the potential for one-way flow by utilizing tidal energy at T3IA. The data used is water level elevation data obtained from field observations. The analysis used is RMSE analysis to test the accuracy of the calibration process. Unsteady flow analysis using the HECRAS program. The results of the study obtained an RMSE value of 0.162. The simulation results of several flow scenarios resulted in scenario two with the largest volumetric amount. It is recommended to simulate unsteady flow with longer tidal data, so that the simulation results are more accurate.
