Abstract

The South is a new land that was formed more than 300 years ago. The harmony and interaction of local communities with migrants have created the cultural and religious diversity of this land. Over time, people's lives have improved and architecture has also undergone positive changes. From the simple thatched-roof houses of the land reclamation period, replaced by three-room wooden houses, to houses built with concrete structures, brick walls, and tiled roofs in classic and architectural styles and modern architecture today. Although developed in the early years of the twentieth century, with its advantages, Southern glass paintings (TKNB) have gone hand in hand with architectural forms and become an indispensable part of the lives of people here. In order to adapt to changes in housing architecture and meet the cultural and religious needs of the people, artisans have made innovations and changes from content to form to help Southern glass paintings survive and develop until now. In addition to the value of folk visual art, Southern glass paintings have become an impressive highlight, honoring architectural works in many provinces and cities in the South.
