- Abstract
Cultivating compound talents with interdisciplinary and comprehensive application capabilities has become the core task of current education reform. This study aims to explore how to improve the teaching methods of computer vision courses through multidisciplinary integration under the background of new engineering education. At present, the teaching of computer vision courses has problems such as disconnection between theory and practice, insufficient integration of basic subject knowledge, and lagging course content updates. To solve these problems, this paper constructs a multidisciplinary integration teaching model of theory, practice, and application based on constructivism, experiential learning, and Bloom’s cognitive goal theory. Based on the concept of multidisciplinary integration, the research questions and research methods of course knowledge are refined, the teaching model is innovated, and students’ innovation ability and ability to solve complex problems are improved. Through the teaching pilot in the computer vision course of our school, using questionnaire surveys, test scores, project evaluation and other data, the results show that this model significantly improves students’ theoretical mastery, practical skills and interdisciplinary application ability, and provides an effective path for the cultivation of high-level compound talents under the background of new engineering education.
