- Abstract
As global economic and social environments rapidly develop, Millennials and Generation Z exhibit significant differences in their values. The sports industry, characterized by its diversity, cross-border nature, and high social relevance, particularly highlights these generational differences. Through a systematic literature review, this study explores the professional value disparities between Millennials and Generation Z in the sports industry. The findings reveal that their values are profoundly shaped by economic environments, technological innovations, social and cultural changes, and educational model transformations. Specifically, Millennials emphasize personal growth, team collaboration, and social responsibility, while Generation Z focuses more on technological applications, career meaning, and flexibility. The sports industry’s unique cross-border nature and social value perfectly provide an ideal career development platform for both generations. By understanding and adapting to these dynamic values, the industry can effectively promote sustainable development and meet the diverse needs of its workforce, ultimately fostering a more inclusive and innovative environment.
