Abstract

Bullying remains a serious problem in primary schools. Bullying can hurt learners’ psychological and academic development. For this reason, effective prevention and handling of bullying in schools is needed. Teachers have an imperative part in building character and ingraining anti-bullying states of mind in schools. This ponder depicts the role of instructors in dealing with bullying in rudimentary schools. The research was conducted at the State Elementary School of Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency. This inquiry utilized a subjective strategy with a field investigation approach. Information was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory perception of instructors and understudies, and documentation. It appears that instructors have an imperative part in building a positive school climate, raising mindfulness, distinguishing, interceding, counseling casualties and culprits, and working with guardians. Various character education strengthening programs are carried out through anti-bullying education, bullying handling training for teachers, and facilitation of character education programs. The conclusion of this thought is the significance of teachers’ part in the issue of bullying in making a secure school environment for all learners.
