- Abstract
This research aims to analyze the role of women’s leadership in the implementation of gender mainstreaming at Bahteramas People’s Credit Bank (PD BPR) in Kendari. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The focus of the research is on a woman leader who has led the company for more than a decade. The results indicate that women’s leadership at PD BPR Bahteramas Kendari has contributed positively to the implementation of gender mainstreaming, especially in terms of equal opportunities for employment, wages, and strategic positions. Through the four dimensions of women’s leadership according to Kanter (The Mother, The Pet, The Seductress, and The Iron Maiden), she has been able to create an inclusive and harmonious work environment. However, the research also identified some challenges, such as a tendency to be overly sympathetic in enforcing discipline and difficulties in human resource development.
