Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the students’ numerical competence on the data and statistical topic using GeoGebra. This research is an action research classroom, which consists of four steps, such as plans, actions, observations, and reflections. The subjects of this research are 22 elementary School students of 4th grade of SDN 130 in Palembang. This Data collected from observation, testing, and interview. The Data is analyzed by using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The numerical competence from the first cycle showed that the competence of students by creating histogram using GeoGebra is good. From the mean of 50% of all students are categorized as good. In the first cycle, known that the students comprehended collecting Data, showing the Data, and presenting the Data in the form of histogram by using GeoGebra. Further, from the second cycle, there is an increment which is 78,1% of the students could read and analyze the Statistical Data in GeoGebra. Based on two cycles, we can conclude that there is an enhancement numerical knowledge in the numerical data and statistic by using GeoGebra.
