Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the GQGA learning model on the science learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 243 Palembang. This research uses a quasi-experimental design method with a nonequivalent control group design type. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students at SDN 243 Palembang. The samples in the research were 33 control class students and 33 experimental class students taken using purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used in this research is a multiple-choice test. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Independent Samples T-test, which first carries out a normality test and a homogeneity test. The results of the research showed that the experimental group obtained an average pretest score of 48.79 and an average posttest score of 77.88. The results obtained from the calculation of the Independent Samples T-test with a significance level of α = 0.05 are sig. 0.009, or 0.009 < 0.05. Based on the results of the Independent Samples T-test, it can be concluded that the use of the GQGA learning model influences the science learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 243 Palembang.
