Abstract

Mathematics is an important subject and is taught at every level of education, one of which is calculus. Calculus material is widely studied and applied in various fields of knowledge and modern technology, but until now, it has yet to be considered very difficult. This study aims to determine the opportunity of combining GeoGebra software with the Case-Based Collaborative Learning (CBCL) learning method on students’ mastery of calculus material by systematic reviews. The stages of this study begin with a review of the effect of using GeoGebra software on students’ mastery of calculus material compared to conventional methods without software. Then, it investigates the impact of the application of case study-based learning and the application of collaborative-based learning in calculus learning. In addition, it will determine the effect of using case-based collaborative learning (CBCL) methods in various fields of science on student learning outcomes. Furthermore, the importance of each of these methods is discussed in this article. The final overview shows that the integration opportunity of GeoGebra software and the Case-Based Collaborative Learning (CBCL) method has an excellent opportunity to improve understanding and mastery in solving cases in calculus material. The plan for future implementation stages is discussed in this article.
