- Abstract
This study proposes a modular framework for green building education, which systematically integrates sustainability, quality assurance, and innovation through curriculum restructuring and a teaching value exchange model. The traditional civil engineering and architecture major is redefined into four core directions—planning, management, architecture, and civil engineering—thereby reducing curriculum redundancy and aligning with international standards. This framework replaces the traditional rational mechanics module with the aforementioned three modules and aligns its teaching outputs with industry benchmarks. Additionally, cutting-edge tools are incorporated into the framework: EnergyPlus for dynamic thermal modeling, IoT-based SPC for real-time tolerance monitoring, and GPT-4 for market analysis. The technical rigor of this framework lies in its quantifiable indicator system and the integration of sustainability and innovation systems into the core teaching process. This study meets the growing demand for professional talents in the green building field. It also provides a replicable solution for the modernization of curriculum systems. Designed to ensure seamless connection with graduation design projects and industry standards, the framework offers practical solutions for educational institutions committed to bridging the gap between academic training and the practical challenges in the sustainable building sector.
