- Abstract
Aiming at the challenges of abstract concepts, theoretical complexity, and mathematical intensity in Information Theory and Coding Fundamentals, systematical integration of ideological and political elements into the teaching of information theory, source coding, and channel coding is researched in this paper. By mining the inherent ideological elements of core concepts, such as information entropy, Huffman coding and polar codes etc., we organically integrate the connotation of professional knowledge and curriculum-based ideological education. Students not only master technical knowledge but also cultivate scientific spirit, philosophical wisdom, innovation capabilities, critical thinking, and sense of national identity. This approach achieves synergistic development between professional competence and ideological literacy, providing a replicable model for curriculum-based ideological education.
