Abstract

This study aimed to develop an Outcome-Based Digitized Intervention Material (OBDIM) for Mathematics 5, focusing on the least-learned skill: Finding the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM). The development involved validation by content and usability experts, using Kotobee Author and Lumi applications to create an interactive offline OBDIM. A descriptive-developmental research design was employed to identify and design an intervention material tailored to this skill. Participants included mathematics teachers for content validation and ICT-inclined or learning resource developer teachers for usability validation, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was done through an adopted survey tool. Findings revealed that the OBDIM was structured and organized, facilitating easy navigation for teachers and learners. The instructional strategies used were effective in enhancing understanding and comprehension of the topic, aligning with curriculum standards. The study highlighted the OBDIM’s utility in preparing learners to meet learning objectives and its efficacy in supporting mathematics education. The material proved to be a valuable resource for both learners and educators, fostering competency mastery and providing essential teaching support. The study recommends continuous learning and development opportunities for educators to enhance their capacity to design effective intervention materials, thereby enriching the educational landscape.
