- Abstract
To adapt to the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Chinese government has set a goal for high-quality development of “new quality productive forces”. To achieve the goal, creative talents with interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, as well as innovative consciousness, creative ability, and team collaboration capabilities are highly needed as supports. As the main base for talent cultivation, universities are facing the important task to train high-quality talents who can adapt to the development of new quality productivity. The ‘three-crosses’ model, which refers to cross-disciplinary, cross-campus and cross-border, is an important approach to solve the problem.
