Abstract

This paper elaborates on the application of Midas Civil software in bridge engineering education, emphasizing its key role in adapting to the development of new productive forces. By digital modeling, Midas Civil enhances students’ understanding of bridge design theory and practical skills, effectively bridging the gap between theory and practice. Through specific teaching cases, the application of Midas Civil in bridge design, analysis, and post-processing is demonstrated, highlighting its importance in fostering innovative spirit and the ability to solve practical problems. Finally, it is proposed to deepen the integration of Midas Civil with bridge engineering courses, providing technical support and talent cultivation oriented towards current engineering demands.
