- Abstract
This study aims to explore the current status and challenges of building a youth talent workforce and propose feasible strategies. Through literature review, questionnaire surveys, and cross-data analysis, the study systematically examines the participation of youth talent in rural revitalization in border ethnic areas and analyzes the factors influencing their willingness to engage in rural employment and entrepreneurship. The findings reveal that the extent of youth talent loss, insufficient policy attractiveness, economic income, and development opportunities significantly impact their willingness to return. Younger individuals and female youth show lower levels of willingness, and significant differences exist in willingness based on professional types and urban-rural backgrounds. By optimizing industrial development, improving policy support, strengthening talent cultivation, and enhancing rural public services and social governance capabilities, youth talent can be effectively encouraged to participate in rural revitalization, contributing to the economic and social development of border ethnic areas.
