- Abstract
The advent of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), particularly with the introduction of ChatGPT, has garnered significant attention in the field of education. This paper aims to explore the potential of ChatGPT in enhancing the oral proficiency of Spanish language learners. Many Spanish learners face limited opportunities for language practice, which hampers the development of their speaking abilities. By simulating dialogues, providing linguistic feedback, and creating diverse communicative scenarios, ChatGPT offers an innovative supplement to traditional language teaching methods. This study empirically examines the practical application of ChatGPT in improving Spanish learners’ oral expression and overall learning achievements. The findings not only provide valuable insights for language learners and educators but also offer significant implications for future educational reforms and the integration of technology in education.
