- Abstract
This paper elaborates on the definitions of multimodality and multimodal teaching. Taking Unit 3 of the English textbook for the third grade of primary school published by People’s Education Press as an example, it discusses the methods and processes of primary school English teaching design and practice from the multimodal perspective. It emphasizes the importance of multimodal teaching in primary school English teaching. Teachers should integrate multiple modalities and mobilize students’ senses to participate in learning, so as to improve teaching effectiveness.
