- Abstract
Case-based teaching of military combats, an important teaching method widely used in the military theoretical curriculum, is characterized by high flexibility and efficiency. It has advantages such as broadening horizons of the cadets, promoting their critical thinking, facilitating their self-directed learning and cultivating their teamwork skills. However, there are also some prominent contradictory problems in case-based teaching of military combats, such as outdated teaching content, difficulties in teaching implementation and promoting teaching effectiveness. Based on the dilemmas faced by case-based teaching of military combats, this paper focuses on analyzing the prominent contradictory problems in these dilemmas and puts forward some thoughts on getting out of the dilemmas from four aspects: clarifying characteristic attributes, establishing a fault-tolerance mechanism, intensifying the teaching atmosphere, and making use of technological advantages.
