Abstract

Based on the benchmarking theory and from the perspective of the strategic planning closed-loop theory, this paper compared the content of strategic planning texts of several world-class universities with engineering characteristics between China and foreign countries. It conducted a detailed comparative study of the similarities and differences in the vision, target, and implementation of strategic planning of different benchmarking universities, providing references and bases for the strategic planning work of Chinese universities.
