Through the 2018–2022 network heat change trend, combined with Jiangxi 5A scenic area’s geographical, transportation and seasonal factors, it was found that the scenic area close to the provinces with high economic development level and the 5A scenic area that makes full use of the scenic seasonality for media publicity has a higher scenic heat than other 5A scenic areas. The conclusions drawn from the study provide suggestions for the development of Jiangxi scenic spots in the new media era.
