- Abstract
Given China’s economic development has transitioned from a high-speed growth phase to a high-quality development stage, rural tourism comprehensively promotes the integrated development of production, living, and ecology in rural areas. This paper reviews current social policy directions and academic research status pertaining to common prosperity, rural tourism, and high-quality development, drawing on the man-land relationship regional system theory, economic growth theory, and comprehensive evaluation theory as guiding frameworks to construct an indicator system for assessing high-quality development of rural tourism under the common prosperity context, comprising 36 specific metrics. It emphasizes the deep integration of common prosperity with rural tourism, employing multi-perspective and comprehensive approaches to evaluate the high-quality development level of rural tourism within the common prosperity framework.
