- Abstract
This study compared the user experience of children’s fire safety education game courseware with virtual reality (VR) and non VR. There are studies on VR experience. Nonetheless, there is an absence comparative studies on particular subjects within VR and non VR. This investigation examines how the use of VR and non VR in children’s fire safety education game courseware affects user experience. We have developed a children’s fire safety education game courseware that can be applied to both VR and non VR (PC) environments. Select 30 children aged 10-12 to experience VR and non VR versions. We utilize the GameFlow model as a framework to assess and scrutinize VR and non VR iterations of children’s fire safety education game courseware to determine the differences in fun.
