Abstract

Concrete’s propensity to fracture under tensile stress limits its structural performance and life. This study investigates using Recycled Steel filaments (RSF) made from artificial derivations to ameliorate the mechanical rates of concrete. At volumetric rates of 1.5, 2.25 percent, and 3, RSF was added. Compressive strength, flexural strength, and resolve tensile strength trials were carried out. According to the results, rigidity, cargo- bearing capacity, and crack resistance were each markedly bettered by an increase in RSF attention. The results indicate that RSF is a good cover for traditional concrete in terms of strengthening it, as it not only enhances mechanical performance but also encourages provident and environmentally friendly structure styles by recovering artificial waste.
