Abstract

This research examines the entrepreneurial intention of Moroccan graduates who have set up their own business, through an empirical study based on Ajzen’s (1991) model of planned behavior. The main objective is to identify the psychosocial factors influencing their entrepreneurial decision, focusing on attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control. The study involved 91 Moroccan graduate entrepreneurs. Data were collected using a standardized questionnaire, and analyzed using SPSS software, mobilizing statistical tools such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA), the KMO test and the Bartlett test. The results show that entrepreneurial attitudes, perceived social support and confidence in available skills and resources have a significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. These results confirm the relevance of Ajzen’s model to the Moroccan context, and enable us to formulate concrete recommendations, such as the creation of regional incubators, the development of training in entrepreneurial skills, and raising families’ awareness of the role of psychosocial support. These proposals aim to strengthen public policies in support of entrepreneurship and foster an inclusive, sustainable entrepreneurial culture.
