The Influence of STEAM Learning on the Creative Character of Children Aged 5–6 Years Based on Gender

- Abstract
Creativity is urgent in education today, where the era of education considers aspects of creativity in children’s education by implementing STEAM content learning, especially in the 21st century. This study aims to present an overview of how STEAM-based learning affects the development of creative character, considering gender differences in children aged 5–6 years. This research follows a quantitative descriptive design with a survey-based approach. The findings of this study reveal that children’s creative character is shaped through activities involving STEAM content, the majority of respondents are women, with a total of 35 respondents with an F score of 59 with a scale score of 81 – 90 reached 42.1%. Based on the research problem, the study seeks to address the question of how STEAM content learning impacts the development of creative character, concerning gender differences in children aged 5–6 years. The impact of STEAM content learning research is developing creative attitudes that children can apply in everyday life.
