- Abstract
This study explores the effectiveness of the listening-after-reading task in College English vocabulary learning. 64 freshmen were asked to fulfill separately the following 2 practices: the listening-without-reading model (group A), the listening-after-reading model (group C). The same vocabulary tests were then conducted on the target words. The results indicate that the listening-after-reading task has a significant effectiveness on college English vocabulary learning, and brings about interactive synergies and effectively promoting L2 learning.
