Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology is revolutionizing civil engineering education. This study analyzes the reforms of BIM courses across 12 Chinese universities from 2019 to 2024, revealing that institutions that adopted integrated teaching methods experienced: An increase in student competency scores by 1.41% (p < 0.05), Higher certification rates by 2.39% Greater industry project participation by 3.43%. We propose a four-dimensional reform framework, validated by global case studies and longitudinal data.
