- Abstract
This study focuses on developing instructional materials for Mechatronics-PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to enhance student learning motivation and engagement. As automation and mechatronic systems become increasingly integral to modern industries, the demand for skilled professionals in this field has risen. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model to design, develop, implement, and evaluate innovative teaching materials that integrate simulation-based and interactive learning models. These methods allow students to visualize and manipulate dynamic models in real time, fostering a deeper understanding of complex mechatronic systems. The findings suggest that such materials significantly improve students’ motivation, understanding, and practical skills, preparing them for the challenges of the industrial environment. The study emphasizes the need for continuous refinement of these materials to align with technological advancements and industry standards.
