- Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the abilities of regular students and scholarship students in the context of problem solving. The research method used was descriptive qualitative involving 61 student research subjects who were analyzed using Polya’s theory. The results of the study showed that there was no difference in problem solving abilities between regular students and scholarship recipients. Further research that needs to be done is to analyze problem solving abilities in cognitive aspects and ways of thinking.
