- Abstract
Driven by the dual forces of digitalization and the transformation of application-oriented universities, the research-based teaching model has become a critical path to break through the flatness dilemma of traditional teaching and cultivate innovative architectural talents. Based on educational theories and the disciplinary characteristics of architecture, this paper systematically combs the construction logic and practical approaches of the research-based teaching model in application-oriented universities under the digital background, demonstrates the value of paradigm innovation of the research-based teaching model in architectural education, enhances educational quality through technological empowerment, promotes educational equity, cultivates talents adapting to the needs of the digital era, and provides theoretical support and practical references for the educational reform of architecture in application-oriented universities.
